Waking up in the morning
I could hear the day that started hours before
staring at the ceiling
asking myself, "What should I wear?"
I got up from my bed
I turned around to look at my pillow
it looked so welcoming
"Why not?" I asked myself
and so I went back down
it's only the weekend anyway
so why not?
It's probably some time early afternoon
but I don't care
I am very comfortable
my fairy tale dreams came back to life
through my closed eye lids
back to the wonders of daydreaming
I play another person
or I make believe
Why not stay here for the rest of the day?
It's only Sunday
the last day of the weekend
a day to rest for tomorrow
Sunday
A day that is meant to rest our body
sorry to the early birds
I'm very comfortable
nothing will move me
Besides, it's only Sunday
Written in 1998
And yes, I loved sleep. I still do. Not a morning person here!

Ocean Dreams
The wind blew against the sea
buried treasure was near the Key
Seagulls flew above the ocean
knowing that their prey was at the location
Sand washed against the shore
like it has done so many times before
Ships carried trades that are in need
with international people to feed
Sun rose from the water
it didn't cause a disturbing bother
Doing it's regular nature by the time
knowing that every other time
Explorers discover something new
an independent kingdom grew
The ocean is filled with wonderful creatures
never spoil the goddess of all kinds of nature

Untitled Poems
Untitled 1
The feeling is lust
fading away in dust
Dreams of myths
perfect time to drift
Risking despair
open to the scarlet air
Untitled 2
I don't believe
in myths
in dreams
only in myself
the truth is in
my heart
my thinking
is my key
only me
Both poems were originally written in 2001

She the Gypsy
A lady was walking down the street
with sandals on her feet
Rainbow color robes and scarves were blowing in the wind
on her face, there was a grin
spreading across her cheek
speaking in all kinds of languages of Italian, Spanish, French, and Greek
People were looking at her, either laughing or in silence
they were not at all disturbing her presence
She was lost
in her own thoughts
People around her were so cruel
but she had her own special jewel
Their minds were so full of mean and hate
that is not what is in her wishful fate
Others wonder why her nature is so weird
about her life as it appeared
Her jewelry dangled across her chest
falling down between her breast
Her earrings were long and colorful
yet, she felt so wonderful
Her rings glittered their reflection to the sun
her mind was having fun
Her bracelets sung a delightful song
happy to know where she really belong
she walked for a very long time
crossing fruits of apples, oranges, and limes
passing through all kinds of land
her sandals touching the pure white sand
There was a sudden silence around her human being
a lot of Mother Nature that she was seeing
She's a gypsy
moving to different places to explore and see
she had other gypsies with her
following her believing nature
She knew where they were
waiting for her, so they could continue to go far
But, she knew that she would be there and go wherever that they feel
she can not help but let out a happy squeal
She has everything that she ever wanted
feeling that her dream-come-true was granted
Her own world was filled with lace, velvet, and flowers
with clothes that came out of the mending hours
To the gypsy that she was
to receive her willing kiss
